The most notable is the support for the gyro found in the iPhone 4 which improves control tremendously when compared to using the accelerometer alone. Also, there were a few more bugs that were found in the audio subsystem that have been addressed. I have also replaced the option screen with a much more functional one. The update should be available in a few more weeks on the the App Store.

  • Fixed AI targeting bug that caused AI ships to fire infrequently on large targets
  • Added a high res menu background for the iPad version
  • Added a dead zone to the accelerometer to make flying easier.
  • Repositioned buttons on the iPad version to accommodate more natural thumb placement.
  • General code cleanup and optimization.
